WONDER LOOPER EVENT

Thank you to everyone who dropped in on our second in store event with Bahzad and Risa, the knitwear savants behind the beefy sweaters that we all know and love as Wonder Looper!

There was a remarkable turnout. It’s been a lot of fun getting involved with Wonder Looper’s community, who tend to be enthusiasts, in the most general sense - the interest in 825gsm colour-grown tannin-rich iron-bathed (etc.) cotton tends to extend into other things as well, be it philosophy, politics, art - needless to say it’s easy to lose track of time at these meetups.

We premiered Wonder Looper’s long anticipated FW25 “Double Heavyweight Terry” as an event exclusive - what little remains of our event inventory has now been moved onto the website!

Wonder Looper was started as a chain-stitch embroidery service out of the home studio of Bahzad Trinos & Risa Saito in Yokohama, Japan. Feeling that the generic, mass produced T-Shirts they were working on were not worthy of the intricacy of their embroidery work, they set out to develop their own T-Shirt : enter the “Double Heavyweight T-Shirt” that WL enthusiasts have come to know and love. From there, they pushed into other product categories, using techniques and materials that “reflect the relentless pursuit of the extraordinary”.
