RETURN POLICY

Gerhard Supply offers exchange / store credit (no refunds) on regular priced (not discounted) merchandise returned to us within 14 days of purchase / delivery. Returned merchandise must not be worn, washed or damaged. All original tags, packaging and receipts must be included, intact, with the merchandise.

ORDERS SHIPPED TO DESTINATIONS OUTSIDE OF CANADA ARE FINAL SALE

RETURN SHIPPING

Canadian customers (international orders are final sale) are responsible for their own return shipping costs. Gerhard Supply will not accept returns shipped to us without a return authorization. Please contact us to obtain one. Any C.O.D. charges that Gerhard Supply incurs accepting returns will be deducted from the value of the exchange or store credit issued.

HOLIDAY RETURN POLICY

Our 14-day window for returns can be deferred to Dec. 27 - Jan. 9 on any purchases made in the month of December - all other conditions still apply.

PRICE ADJUSTMENTS

Gerhard Supply will gladly issue a price adjustment in the form of store credit on regular priced items that are discounted within 14 days of purchase. In order for an item to qualify for a price adjustment, we must have another one of the item in stock in the same size, style and colour at the time that the adjustment is requested.

TO CANADA

A $15 CAD shipping charge applies to orders under $300 CAD.

"In Store Pickup" is available (no charge) to local customers who do not require delivery.

We ship to Canadian addresses via Canada Post. Delivery in 3-7 business days, tracked.

Residents of Ontario and other HST participating provinces and territories are charged HST.

Residents of GST / PST collecting provinces and territories are only charged GST.

TO THE UNITED STATES

Effective 08.29.2025 the United States has suspended its duty free “de minimis” threshold for imports. This means that all shipments to the United States, regardless of value, courier / postal service, country of origin, etc., are now subject to US duties, taxes and formal import clearance procedures.

GERHARD is currently shipping DDU (Delivery Duties Unpaid) to the United States. This means that the price shown at checkout does not include duties, taxes and brokerage fees. These additional charges will be collected from the customer by UPS prior to delivery. We’re happy to help predict these charges but we cannot currently pre-pay or waive them.

FREE TRADE AGREEMENTS / “DE MINIMIS” EXEMPTIONS

UNITED STATES :

Canada and the United States have a Free Trade Agreement (CUSMA / USMCA) which allows Made-in-Canada goods (most of our inventory) to import into the United States duty free. Local sales tax and a small brokerage fee may still apply, but the duties on Canadian origin goods will be waived.

EU / UK :

Orders valued below €150 / £135 will be declared at €150 / £135 for duties and VAT collection purposes. We are not registered for EU / UK VAT collection, which is now required of any non EU / UK business exporting goods valued below €150 / £135 into the EU / UK. Orders valued over €150 / £135 are unaffected by the new rules.

Canada and the European Union have a Free Trade Agreement (CETA) which allows Made-in-Canada goods (most of our inventory) to import into the European Union duty free. VAT and a small brokerage fee may still apply, but the duties on Canadian origin goods will be waived.

Canada and the United Kingdom have a Free Trade Agreement (CUKTCA) which allows Made-in-Canada goods (most of our inventory) to import into the United Kingdom duty free. VAT and a small brokerage fee may still apply, but the duties on Canadian origin goods will be waived.

SOUTH KOREA :

Canada and South Korea have a Free Trade Agreement (CKFTA) which allows Made-in-Canada goods (most of our inventory) to import into South Korea duty free. Local sales tax and a small brokerage fee may still apply, but the duties on Canadian origin goods will be waived.

PACIFIC RIM :

Canada and a growing number of other “Pacific Rim” countries (Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore, etc.) have a Free Trade Agreement (CPTPP) which allows Made-in-Canada goods (most of our inventory) to import into CPTPP member countries duty free. Local sales tax and a small brokerage fee may still apply, but the duties on Canadian origin goods will be waived.

“DE MINIMIS”:

Many countries have “De Minimis” exemptions that exempt (relatively) low value importations from duties / taxes / formal import clearance procedures.
