This jacket is based on the U.S. military A-2 flight jacket. While retaining the original design’s distinctive features, it has been refined for everyday wear by removing the shoulder epaulettes and replacing the waist pockets with practical slash pockets.
The fabric is an original back-satin textile made from cotton and Australian Merino wool. In addition to the distinctive texture of back satin, it offers the natural warmth and insulation of Merino wool, along with antibacterial and odor-resistant properties derived from natural fibres. The addition of cotton provides a balance of structure and softness, combining the rugged character of military wear with a comfortable feel.
