Tanino Mid is the ankle-height read of Buttero's hero sneaker, keeping the raw-cut edges and stitch points that have marked the model since 2013.
The upper is vegetable-tanned calf leather; the tanning leaves the grain uneven on purpose, so no two hides read quite the same, and the colour deepens with every season worn. Leather laces and brass eyelets complete the closure, with a spare pair of laces included. A genuine-rubber sole runs underfoot, comfortable from first wear.

Spot clean, or take to a leather professional. To care for your Buttero shoes, gently wipe away dirt with a damp cloth or sponge, then nourish the leather with a light application of natural wax, buffing with a soft cloth to restore its shine. Keep your shoes away from excessive heat or moisture. Should they get wet, blot away any excess water and allow them to air dry naturally at room temperature.
We recommend sizing down one full size from your EU shoe size in most Buttero styles. The popular "Tanino" style runs particularly large. Buttero recommends sizing down two full sizes in the "Tanino", though we would only recommend 1.5. If you're buying Buttero for your first time we would recommend getting in touch with us before submitting your order.
